I'll never finish them but the quest is greater than the prize. You can walk for days up hills and never see anyone.Car parks are empty with faint grass paths from minor roads to summits on most of the hills. An undiscovered Eden without the pull of Munros to suck visitors in. The land of Corbetts,Grahams.Donalds and Marilyns,... that's the new frontier.
Just think, 1216/1217 Scottish Marilyns to bag and over 2000 in the UK :o)blueskyscotlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09373718369702364265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6429013260986201371.post-88449947659377470472015-07-21T01:05:43.588+01:002015-07-21T01:05:43.588+01:00Hi Neil,

Dundreich was a much better hill than expected as I've climbed a few bowling balls in the centre of the Moorfoots that seemed to go on forever. Makes all the difference being on the edge of the range looking over a wide fertile valley.blueskyscotlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09373718369702364265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6429013260986201371.post-90599056269959128782015-07-21T00:17:57.162+01:002015-07-21T00:17:57.162+01:00Sounds a good trip and is a lovely area - me and R...Sounds a good trip and is a lovely area - me and Richard are hoping to do much more in that area in future years (when I've finished bagging).
Carol.Carolhttp://www.mountaincowardadventures.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6429013260986201371.post-42329750807744521332015-07-20T20:54:22.647+01:002015-07-20T20:54:22.647+01:00The BBA look after some nice bothies.
