Often it rains all day here then dries up at night. I've learned to be a very fast point and shoot night photographer though as when I'm with someone on a walk it would really irritate them if...... A... I was not paying proper attention to them.... and B....if I was stopping and starting all the time... except on a bike ride when I'm ahead on a hill as then it counts as waiting for them to catch up so that's OK. Night settings or a long exposure would really try their patience, so that's out unless I'm alone.blueskyscotlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09373718369702364265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6429013260986201371.post-13081145975143718692020-09-16T11:51:52.577+01:002020-09-16T11:51:52.577+01:00I really need to head out more at night to explore...I really need to head out more at night to explore towns and cities and practice my photography. As familiar to a student from the 1880s as a 1960s Glasgow visitor. A kind of immortality usually reserved to ancient monuments as it might last another 200 years with an interior facelift.blueskyscotlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09373718369702364265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6429013260986201371.post-6597371251516319142020-09-15T21:46:41.844+01:002020-09-15T21:46:41.844+01:00I know that area around the University so well, or...I know that area around the University so well, or did, but I don't expect it has changed all that much. Glasgow was also the 4th city in Europe to reach 1 million residents, Also a model for North American cities with its early grid plan layout of the new town, the Second City of the British Empire (although two large English cities also have that claim, although not until later time-wise) At that time Scotland and its citizens built many of the world's ships, Steam Locomotives, and bridges (including Tower Bridge in London) Still has the largest terra cotta fountain in the world and the tallest multiplex cinema (at the time of construction.)blueskyscotlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09373718369702364265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6429013260986201371.post-47138457615507594652020-09-13T22:35:40.393+01:002020-09-13T22:35:40.393+01:00Had no idea your university was so old and histori...Had no idea your university was so old and historic!Carolhttp://www.mountaincowardadventures.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6429013260986201371.post-53728680715980306062020-09-12T18:50:15.167+01:002020-09-12T18:50:15.167+01:00Ah, but the video may not be familiar.
