Love the frilly fungus! :-)

Found a dead squirrel today :-( It was a grey but I like those too. Not sure they have much roadsense though as I often find dead ones by the roadside like today.

Hi Carol, Merry Christmas.
Grey squirrels and pheasants do seem to relish getting squashed flat on Britain's road network. Maybe some aspiring up and coming artist could find a use for them and turn them all into a nice wallpaper... or free slippers for the poor.

A great set of pictures Bob. I hope you had a good Christmas.
Talking of squashed flat, down here in Galloway it's the badgers that are committing suicide. I saw three one day back in August.
